Lost Mine of Phandelver

The Story so Far
A Trip to Phandalin

Four strangers; a catfolk ranger, a wood elf ranger, a human fighter, and a high elf wizard; hired by a slightly eccentric dwarf, Gundren Rockseeker, were tasked with accompanying a shipment of goods to the town of Phandalin.
En Route, the group were ambushed by a group of goblins. After quickly despatching the goblins, the group found evidence that the ambush site was frequently used to conduct similar ambushes on many other travellers, including the dwarf, Gundren, and a human warrior companion who had travelled ahead of them. The group captured one of the goblin ambushers and took him, bound, to Phandalin for questioning.
In the short interrogation, the goblin revealed that the dwarf and his companion were taken to the Cragmaw Goblin’s hideout, and promised to lead them there if they let him live. The group agreed. The next day, the battered goblin was true to his word, and led the adventurers to the cave hideout, before getting washed away by a relatively shallow stream.
The group sneaked into the hideout killing the goblin lookouts outside. They passed a room with 3 tied up wolves, and decided to leave them be, planning to return to free them. The attack on the cave was going along great until the group came upon Yeemik and a group of goblins in what appeared to be the cave version of a dining area. A bloody and difficult battle ensued, with both sides taking a fair share of hits, but in the end the adventurers proved too formidable for the Cragmaws.
The adventurers, exhausted and with some minor injuries, decided that they would not be able to tackle the rest of the cave today, and made a very quick and expeditious retreat, stabbing any goblins on their way out. Swearing to return when they recover.
Fortunately, there were few goblins and bugbears left alive in this part of the cave, none of which were conscious to see them running away.
